TU Dresden, Junior Professorship in Industrial Design Engineering (td)

The Junior Professorship in Industrial Design Engineering holds a top position in the research and teaching of experience and user-centred development of technical products and systems. When developing technically sophisticated products, they combine design and construction in order to obtain innovative overall solutions. In doing so, the Junior Professorship works in both a creative and systematic way. Taking into consideration customer, market and corporate requirements, they are able to develop technically, ergonomically and aesthetically convincing product and innovation studies for tomorrow’s working environment.

The Junior Professorship’s intensive research activities are part of leading international design research. The focus is on topics such as experience and user-centred conception and development of industrial product-service systems. Empirical research projects with partners of the excellent Dresden research environment cover the entire scope from fundamental research up to industrial application.
